Irrigation System Evaluations

**We have our own canker decontamination equipment and we always follow proper decontamination procedures!

Our office conducts irrigation system evaluations, primarily on micro-jet spray systems, but we
can evaluate some drip-type systems if so desired. The evaluation process consists of gathering
both field measurements and other known data from the current operating system.  We measure flow rates and pressures throughout the grove and provide you with a map and aerial photo showing locations of the different measurements.  The evaluation also includes a report detailing operating efficiency, a list of problems that were observed in the grove, and list of recommendations to improve operating efficiency.

If you have questions about the irrigation evaluation process, or would like to schedule an evaluation, please contact Jennifer Abbey at 402-6545.

Irrigation System Design

We design irrigation systems for agricultural operations, generally low volume micro-jet systems for citrus production, though we can design sprinkler systems as well.  These designs are developed according to state engineering standards and are double-checked for compliance with these standards.  Irrigation systems are designed to operate with no more than +/-10% variation in pressures and flow rates throughout the grove.  We use 1' elevation contour maps from the Southwest Florida Water Management District whenever available, or we can perform a survey of your land to account for elevation changes in our design (also at no charge).  You will receive several copies of a design drawn in AutoCAD as well as an irrigation schedule.  We will evaluate the system once installed to ensure proper operation.  For more information please contact Jennifer at 402-6545.
