Public Swim Beaches
Coastal beaches are regulated by the
Department
of Health's Florida Healthy Beaches Program (850) 245-4240.

Water samples are routinely collected for designated public swim beaches only. These samples are tested for appropriate bacteria and chemicals to determine whether the water is safe for swimming. They do NOT test water behind homes or other private swimming locations.
