Monofilament Recycling??   How does THAT work?

Step 1:  PVC Collect Bins are placed at boat ramps and public fishing piers.  See maps below!

Step 2:  PVC Collection Bins are emptied and bin data is recorded on Collection Bin data form.

Fishing Line Recycling Bin locations in Highlands County

Step 3:  Fishing line is brought from outdoor PVC bins to an indoor collection sight. Where it is placed into a cardboard recycling bin.

Step 4:  When full, the boxes are taped and shipped (UPS Postage Prepaid) to Berkley. 

Step 5:  The monofilament is chopped into pellets and remolded into tackle boxes and plastic fish habitats.
