Lake Jackson Fish Attractor

Fish attractor and buoy

This buoy marks the spot where the fish attractor is located in Lake Jackson.  The attractor is made from recycled fishing line and is part of the Monofilament Recycling and Recovery Program.  Algae growth was found on the structure in October of 2006.  In April 2007 juvenile fish such as bluegill and box turtles were seen near the structure.
