Jared is a proud Highlands County native, born and raised in the heart of Florida. His lifelong connection to the state’s agricultural communities, natural landscapes, and rich heritage has shaped his passion for protecting Florida’s natural resources.

Jared brings three years of experience providing compliance assistance with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), where he primarily worked with Florida’s citrus industry. This experience provided him with a strong foundation in agricultural compliance, compliance assistance, and the importance of balancing industry needs with responsible stewardship.

Today, Jared focuses on Best Management Practices (BMPs) implementation across Florida’s major agricultural commodities, working to support the agricultural industry through compliance assistance while promoting the long-term health of Florida’s natural resources. He takes pride in helping preserve the land, water, and agricultural heritage that make Florida unique.

Outside of work, Jared enjoys spending time with his two Golden Retrievers and values the time he gets to spend with his family and the meaningful connections he has built with friends. He believes those relationships and experiences are an important part of staying grounded and connected to the community he calls home.
